Our DBG line’s Portable Infrared Burner is a wonderful addition to your tea brewing collection! This countertop burner is all about convenience and speed. The infrared technology enables you to heat your tea to a boil or heat food very quickly and evenly. The stainless steel housing and crystallite ceramic glass top take less than a minute to clean (once the burner is completely cooled you simply wipe it with a damp cloth). The sleek design looks great and enables you to bring it to parties, the office, on an RV, or wherever you want to take it with you. Unlike other tabletop burners, this one operates silently!

How To Use

Before Using the Burner for the First Time:

Insert the 4 non-slip rubber feet into the feet holes on the underside of the Burner.
Always ensure that the Burner is on a level surface and stable before operating.
Turn the Burner to the highest setting (position 5) and let it stand 3 to 5 minutes. This allows the special pre-use protective coating to evaporate. A bit of smoke and smell is normal. Ensure nothing is on the Burner.

Daily Use:

Wipe the base and ceramic glass top with a damp soft cloth or sponge, then wipe dry.
Turn the temperature control knob to the desired heat setting. The indicator light will illuminate until the selected temperature has been reached, and will cycle on and off to indicate that the Burner is operating.
Place cookware designed to be used on an electric range on the preheated Burner. High-quality cookware help in producing the best cooking results.
1. Use only borosilicate glass, ceramic and all types of metallic cookware.
2. Use cookware that have a flat base. Do not use with any base that is concave, convex or uneven.
3. For glass cookware, only use Dragon Herbs’ DBG Glass Tea Elixir Makers.
4. The diameter of the cookware base needs to be smaller than the diameter of the cooktop.
Use pot holders whenever using or moving cookware on the Burner.
Add the food into the cookware and place the cookware on the center of the cooktop.
Do not remove the cookware when in use as the glass temperature of the cooktop becomes very hot. The glass cooktop is extremely hot when in use and shortly after use.
When cooking is complete turn the temperature control knob to 1 or to “keep warm” (3 dots)
1. Turn the knob to 1 to maintain food at a constant warm temperature.
2. Turn the knob to OFF (smallest dot ) and food will stay warm for up to 30 minutes, as the cooktop gradually cools down.
Unplug the Burner.
Preheat the Burner for about 1 minute before placing a saucepan or skillet on the Burner.
Usage limitation: 60 minutes “On” in a 2 hour period.
